We started by talking to the people who would use Scientia—researchers, business professionals, and students. We wanted to know their pain points and what they were missing from other platforms. Inspired by McKinsey’s Featured Insights, we aimed to do more by providing current, accessible data and content that explains complex topics in an easy-to-understand way.
Armed with this understanding, we brainstormed ideas and sketched out designs, keeping user feedback at the forefront of our process. We weren’t just creating a platform; we were building a tool that people could rely on.
We translated our ideas into wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, refining them through multiple rounds of usability testing. Collaborating with a graphic designer, we developed a visual identity that’s professional yet approachable, with a logo and color scheme that reflect our mission.
To bring Scientia to life, we worked closely with our developers, ensuring that every design element was implemented seamlessly. Using agile methodologies, we tackled challenges head-on and made sure that the transition from design to development was smooth and efficient.
We designed the admin dashboard to be the command center of the platform. It gives a clear overview of everything happening on Scientia—from post-performance to user engagement, all in one easy-to-use interface.
Admins can effortlessly create and manage posts, categorizing them for easy access and adding multimedia elements to enhance the content. Whether it's scheduling posts or making quick edits, the process is straightforward and efficient.
Managing categories is simple, ensuring that all content is organized logically and is easy for users to find. As the platform grows, these categories can be updated to reflect new content strategies.
We built in the flexibility for admins to make website edits quickly, whether it’s updating content, tweaking the layout, or making design adjustments. This means Scientia can stay fresh and responsive to user needs.
Our FAQ section is designed to be a helpful resource for users, reducing the need for direct support. Admins can easily manage these questions, keeping them up-to-date with the latest information.
Since going live, the platform has seen a 25% increase in user registrations and a 30% increase in data downloads. These metrics reflect the platform's growing impact and its ability to meet the needs of its users
Testimonials from users indicate that businesses and individuals find the platform invaluable for staying informed and making data-driven decisions. The ability to access reliable, up-to-date information has empowered users to navigate the complexities of the economic landscape more effectively.
Our users have praised Scientia for the comprehensiveness and accessibility of its data. However, they’ve also expressed a desire for more interactive features that would allow them to engage with the content on a deeper level.
In response to this feedback, we’re currently working on adding interactive data visualization tools and expanding the podcast library. Future enhancements include the development of a mobile app and personalized user dashboards to further enrich the user experience.
One of the key challenges we faced was conducting market research concurrently with the design development. This required frequent meetings and redesigns, but the iterative approach ensured that the final product was finely tuned to meet user needs effectively. This collaboration between research and design was crucial to the success of the platform.
